Israeli government, bastions of humanitarianism
The Israeli government has illegally occupied Palestinian territory including the Gaza strip, West bank, and East Jerusalem since 1967. Although geopolitical experts deem the occupation to be wholly illegal, the government of Israel claim they did so for the benefit of the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netan-yahoo has stated in the past “we didn’t take over Palestine to be rulers, we simply felt it would’ve been better to make the Palestinians live easier lives to take away the responsibility of freedom and self determination from them.”.
On the night of April 5th Israeli forces surrounded the Al-Aqsa Mosque to conduct a raid on the worshippers inside. Conventional thought would suggest that the mosque simply housed worshippers that were offering Tarawih prayers, however as stated by Benjamin Netanyahu, the women, and children inside are dangerous militants. According to the armed forces, the children are especially dangerous; they use their cute faces to catch you off guard first then attack you viciously with their tiny hands once you get close enough.
Israeli forces entered the mosque as prayers were being conducted and struck worshippers inside with batons. The fully armed men also utilized tear gas so that their unarmed victims would have a harder time fighting back. After the raid on the first night, some of the pitiable Israeli soldiers came out crying saying “when we first saw the children, we almost pissed our pants. Those Palestinian children and their special powers terrify us greatly. When we were blasting them in the face with our batons, we were worried about getting hit by their tiny hands”.
The raid has spilled over to a second night and is still taking place on the 6th of April; currently around 500 worshippers have been detained by the police. Armed forces have started clashing with protestors on the courtyard of the mosque. It is believed that if the protestors chants get any harsher, then Israeli forces will bring out the big guns; they will most probably utilize tanks in an attempt to shelter their brittle ears from the mean Palestinian chants such as “don’t kill our innocents”, and “what have we done to you that you are trying to wipe us all out”. The loud bellowing of the tank’s engines will surely drown out these words as they run over every last protestor. These dangerous words that may cause the Israelis to contemplate on the brutality they are so good at dishing out.
For this unfortunate event, only time will tell if the brave, and indomitable spirits of the Israeli army/police will be able to overcome unarmed men, women, children, and elderly in Masjid Al Aqsa.
